Just saw this ad on CNN.com. It takes the traditional “punch the monkey” ad to a new level — a game that’s actually semi-enjoyable and not overly obnoxious. They’ve even added a “tell a friend” button so that you can email the “game” to your friends. I’m guessing that the conversion rate on this ad is pretty high.

    oh yeah they’ve had these ads for a while…tons of fun!! check out the ones on ESPN.com, there are home run derbies, table football, hockey … and you are prob right, the conv rate on these must be nice.

    yeah orbitz has a whole site dedicated to their games. they are more tricky to program than punch the monkey due to velocity attributes.
