About
February 26th, 2007
The goal of this blog is to educate both users and industry participants about online advertising by discussing both analytical and technical aspects involved in trading online media. Hopefully through my posts I will help people understand how the online advertising functions both from both technology and business perspectives.
Comments are very welcome, if you’d rather email me than leave them on the blog you can reach me at: mike@mikeonads.com.
My first work in the ad-industry was as the Director of Analytics at Right Media here in New York City. At RM I was responsible for the optimization system, click-fraud, spyware detection, creative auditing, and auction methodologies. I was also deeply involved in various strategic client implementations and serving capacity.
Currently I’m the CTO & Co-Founder at AppNexus, the industry’s first enterprise-grade cloud computing company specifically tailored to address the challenges that are faced by online-advertising companies.

You might have found out about your busted comments problem a lot sooner if you didn’t hide the contact info away. Put a link and the top or bottom of every page.
To repeat a comment in the busted comments post, the browser history gender estimator says it shows the last 100, but the latest is July 14, and mine from today didn’t show.
